Hola Chicas! Today is the day that we feast on tacos!! When this weekly funfest comes along we like to celebrate full out, because who doesn’t love a good taco or ten? You can go so many directions with these pockets of yumminess. You can try authentic Mexican, streetstyle, vegetarian…the possibilities are endless.

Chorizo…need we say more? Who doesn’t love the spicy pick me up that chorizo gives to any dish. This breakfast taco will definitely kickstart your morning.

Crispy Potatoes and Fried Egg Taco (Braco)

Crispy potatoes deserve a post all to themselves because potatoes are life…at least they are in my book. Throw a fried egg on that, over easy and you have yourself a foodgasm! This breakfast taco has both potatoes and fried eggs with the addition of the all mighty chorizo. Can you say Yummy?!

Monday Motivation: Getting Out of Your Own Way

You know what? Sometimes we can be our greatest obstacle. No one can stand in the way of your greatness, but you. Don’t get me wrong, there are many valid excuses,  genuine road blocks and heavy situations that might encourage you to give up on yourself but none of them should be stronger than your will to be great!

If you find yourself having one of those days where negative thoughts or excuses are starting to cloud your way of thinking, try practicing these 3 steps to reaching your full potential. After all, you are a Goody Gal!

3 Tips

Tip #1: Remember, You’re a Badass!

When you start to feel down or stuck in a rut just take a moment to think on all of the reasons why you’re great. What have you accomplished in your life thus far? Take those positive thoughts and let them propel you into action to add to the list of badassery (yes, that’s a word)!

Tip #2: Set Small Goals

Rome wasn’t built in a day, or at least that’s what I’m told. It’s great to have large goals that make a significant impact on your life but you’ll need to take small steps to get there. Break things down into digestible pieces and start tackling one task at a time. Before you know it the accomplishments will start adding up.

Tip #3: Reward Yourself

Because, I mean, who doesn’t love a gift? If you have something that you’ve been wanting but it’s a little too grand to just pick up on your way home from work, use that as motivation. Reward yourself for hitting milestones and accomplishing your goals. You earned it!

Hey, hey, hey Gals! It’s that time of week again when we all start to get the thirst! You know, the one that comes on #ThirstyThursday. We’re headed into a long weekend but we’re not there quite yet.

Slushies the Grown Up Way

Remember when you were young and the weather was hot and humid and all you wanted was an ice cold slushie? You probably forgot about that, huh? Well I didn’t…I didn’t forget about the cold, icey, sugar high that came with it either! I want that refreshing feeling without the sugar crash that follows and that’s where wine slushies come in. Yes, you heard that right, wine slushies. Slushies are all grown up and as delicious as ever. Want to try them yourself? Check out my top three recipes and try one out yourself.

Rosé Wine Slushy

For this pretty pink concoction all you need is a bottle of Rosé, some Belvoir Elderflower & Rose lemonade, lavender and some ice. Blend it all together and enjoy!

Watermelon Limoncello Prosecco Slushy

This one is a little more complicated but just as yummy! To make this decadent drink you’ll need ice, proseco, watermelon, limoncello, mint, and some ice. Blend it all together and voila!

Peach Moscato Slushy

Ok, I saved the best for last. Nothing like peaches in the summer and this slushy just elevates the lovely peach taste with Moscato. The only other thing you’ll need is powdered sugar and then you’re ready to indulge in this ice cold yumminess.

So many women feel as though there’s only room for one powerful, beautiful, strong bad ass in their space when in reality, it’s just not true.

    • There’s nothing that kills the vibe of a collaboration like a one-sided conversation. The purpose is to work together, speak up and share ideas…so do that!

    • Respect each others voice and input. You can’t have a healthy collaboration without respect.
  3. YOU BETTA RECOGNIZE
    • Be sure to recognize all ideas that are thrown on the table and give credit where credit is due. Don’t be the chick that tries to take ownership of other’s great ideas…that’s not cool man.
